A great enthusiasm for life, fitness and lifestyle experiences are at the heart of Wayne’s dream. The Count Sailing Experiences concept was created from a passion for sailing and a desire to share it with others aboard The Count, on what is arguably the world’s most beautiful harbour. While our primary focus is sailing Sydney Harbour, there are many other harbour activities, sporting events and charities that The Count Yacht Charters are interested and involved in.

Wayne Dennett
A career managing high-stakes operations in some of the world’s most demanding environments — from policing in Western Australia to leading 1,100+ security staff across Papua New Guinea and fuel operations for NATO forces in Afghanistan — is a world away from his move to a lifestyle business he now shares with others.
Whilst my working life has demanded discipline, sound judgement and calm under pressure, it’s also taught me what adventure really means. And true adventure isn’t only found in remote corners of the globe — it’s in the wind filling a sail, sharing Sydney Harbour with family and friends, and seeing guests light up as the city skyline drifts past… that’s living!

Cybill
For Cybill, the move to life on the water was less a career change and more a homecoming — a chance to build something special alongside Wayne and share it with everyone who steps aboard.
There’s a moment on every charter when our guests stop, look around and simply take it in — the bridge, the Opera House, the sails catching the afternoon light. Sharing that with Wayne, and seeing people fall in love with the most famous harbour in the world, never gets old… every day out here feels like the first!
Cybill
Cybill brings the warmth to the welcome aboard — looking after guests, styling every charter down to the smallest detail, and making sure each celebration, sunset cruise or family day out feels effortless. Together with Wayne, she’s turned a shared love of adventure into a way of life on Sydney Harbour.
The Count
The Count is a Beneteau 57 — Sydney’s “pocket” super yacht. With her dark blue hull, teak decks and brightwork, her image and style set her apart from other yachts. Besides her good looks, The Count is perfect for entertaining: the comfortable centre cockpit provides seating for ten guests, and the very spacious aft deck is clear of any operating sailing gear, ideal for relaxing with guests.

Our hydraulically operated boarding platform is perfect for swimming upon arriving at one of Sydney’s inner harbour beaches, and includes a hot and cold shower for guests’ comfort. The uncluttered foredeck features a sun lounge, perfect for relaxing in the sun.
